Champagne Pop-Up For New Year’s Eve in Tel Aviv!
If the new year ahead is a fresh opportunity to start a new book of 365 pages, then it makes perfect sense that the first page of that book should be a memorable one, setting the theme for the pages that follow.
With Tel Aviv being a city that never needs an excuse to party, the options for those looking to celebrate New Year’s Eve are plentiful. So if you’re looking for a special place to have your last dinner of the year or a place to have your first dance of the year – the options are many.
But if you want to do both and end the year with an award winning meal and then dance into 2020 with the best playlist and the most extensive champagne list in the country, then there is only one place that grants all your wishes: The Norman Tel Aviv & Alena Restaurant.
The Norman 2020 countdown begins on the 26th December in The Library Bar’s Champagne Lounge Pop-Up event in collaboration with MOËT HENNESSY.
During this week, The Library Bar will feature a rich selection of exclusive French champagnes from the MOËT HENNESSY range of champagne brands; Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot and Krug Champagne. Previously only available for purchase by the bottle, they will be available to enjoy by the glass. DJ Omri Smadar will be playing every weekday between 20.00-01.00 and on Friday from 13.00-17.00.
For New Years Eve itself – let’s begin with dinner, because drinking on an empty stomach is never a good idea.
Executive chef Barak Aharoni has just ended his own year on a culinary high scooping up 2 prestigious awards; a spot on La Liste’s 1000 Best Restaurants in The World list; and Gault & Millau’s Restaurant of The Year Award.
For New Years Eve, Barak Aharoni, together with award winning sommeliere Shira Tsiddon are devising a menu that shows off the best of the Alena kitchen in a course heavy menu that comes perfectly paired with a stunning variety of champagne. For every bottle of champagne ordered guests will also receive a complimentary cheese plate with a variety regional cheeses.
Tickets to take part in a Norman styled New Years Eve cost 155 shekels per person and are available via: https://www.eventer.co.il/thelibrarybar2020
